Remalt

Remalt, redrawn.

Everything you open looks new today: Home, every Board and every card. And there’s more under it: Boards that build themselves from one sentence, mind maps that keep up with you, notes you can publish under your own name and Quick actions. Each one is shown below, with where to find it and what it can’t do yet.

A new Remalt.

Every screen was drawn again from the first pixel: Home, the Board, every card, Notes and Captures. It’s calmer, easier to read and quicker to work in. Your Boards and cards are exactly where you left them.

  • One bar at the bottom of every Board. Add, Draw, Chat and Quick actions, with undo and version history next to them.
  • Add anything from one place. Paste any link, or make a chat, a prompt, a note, a mind map or an image.
  • Videos play on the Board. Grab the picture to move the card, press the bar to watch.
  • Dark and light were both designed, not one flipped into the other.
Find it: everywhere. Nothing to switch on.

Say what you’re making. Remalt builds the Board.

A new Board opens with one question: what are you making? Write a sentence, or paste a link to something you like, and the Board lays itself out: the sources, the prompts, the chat that writes it, and a note on what each part is for.

  • Not sure where to start? Try one: 25 hooks for my reels, one video into a blog, thread and post, find my angle against a competitor, or learn my voice from 2 posts.
  • Rather do it yourself? Start with a note, a chat, an upload or a voice note instead.
  • Changed your mind later? On an empty Board, type a topic into Quick actions and it builds from there.
Find it: every new Board. Templates are one click away in the same window.

Mind maps that keep up with you.

Type the main idea. Tab starts a branch, Enter adds the next one, and your hands never leave the keyboard. When you run dry, Expand with AI adds fresh ideas under the one you picked.

  • A + beside every idea, at any depth, for when you’d rather click.
  • Drag to rearrange. Put an idea between two others, move it to the other side, or drop it onto another idea to tuck it under.
  • Every branch has its colour. Change one and everything under it follows.
  • Fold a branch to hide its ideas, or copy the whole map as a text outline.
Find it: Add, then Mind map. Or press M on a Board.Chats read it too: join a mind map to a chat and it reads the whole map.

Notes worth publishing.

Notes now write like a proper editor: press / for anything, drag blocks around, put text side by side in columns. When it’s ready, publish it as a clean page with your name on it. Readers don’t need an account.

  • Your own page at remalt.com/@yourname, with the notes you choose to show on it.
  • Make it look right. Default, Serif or Mono type, full width, and a light, dark or automatic page.
  • Get it found and shared. Set the title and description Google shows, embed it on your own site, or send it to X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook or email.
  • Let readers save a copy to edit on their own, or keep it read-only.
Find it: Notes in the sidebar, then Publish at the top of a note. Not yet: pictures and videos inside a note.

One press, and the work starts.

Pick a few cards and open Quick actions. Find the pattern, Break into post ideas, Keep the best openers, Make my version or Outline a long piece: a chat lands beside the cards, joined to each one, and it’s already answering.

  • Keys 1 to 5 pick an action without the mouse.
  • Nothing picked? It reads the cards on your screen, up to 12.
  • Want something else? Type your own ask in the same window.
Find it: Quick actions, in the bar at the bottom of every Board.Costs: the same as sending that message in a chat yourself.

Your ChatGPT history just moved in.

Export your chats from ChatGPT, hand Remalt the file, and ask about anything the two of you already worked out. It finds the chat and tells you which one, and when.

  • The file never leaves your device. Remalt reads it in your browser and saves only the text, up to 2,000 chats.
  • It knows who said what. Your words and the assistant’s stay separate, with the date each chat started.
  • Your custom instructions come too, if you say yes when it offers.
Find it: Settings, then Memory, then Import your ChatGPT history. Not yet: old chats are searchable, not reopenable. Images and files in the export stay behind.

Tell it once.

Mention your client while asking for taglines. Next week, in a brand new chat, Remalt still knows who they are and how you like your answers.

  • It learns from what you type. Never from files, web pages, connected apps or its own replies.
  • You can see all of it. Every memory is listed in Settings. Edit, pin, delete, or pause the whole thing.
  • Coming from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini? One button opens it with the right question already typed. Paste the answer back and you’re moved in.
Find it: Settings, then Memory.Limits: 150 memories each. Nothing is learned on a Board someone else owns.

It edits the Excel file. Not a copy of it.

Point chat at a spreadsheet in your Google Drive and say what to change. You see exactly what will change, press Approve, and that same file updates.

  • Same file, same link, still .xlsx. No detour through Google Sheets and no “Copy of” clutter.
  • Nothing saves until you approve. If someone changed the file in the meantime, the save is refused.
  • Change cells and ranges, add rows. Formulas that depend on them update when the file opens.
Find it: connect Google Drive from Connect Tools in any chat. Not yet: it leaves protected or signed sheets, merged cells and array formulas alone.

Now it works inside Claude and ChatGPT.

Sign in once and the AI you already use can read your Brands, Boards and Captures. Ask for a week of posts in your voice. It writes them, then saves them to Remalt as a new Board.

  • Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Claude Code. Each has its own setup steps in Settings.
  • No key to copy. The address is remalt.com/api/mcp and you sign in like anywhere else.
  • It can add. It can’t break. New Boards only. Nothing you already have can be changed or deleted.
Find it: Settings, then Connections.Limits: paid plans. Up to 40 cards in a saved Board.

Draw on your Board.

Circle the hook you’re keeping. Draw an arrow from the video it came from. Box the idea worth stealing. Pen, highlighter, eraser and shapes now live on the canvas and save with the Board.

  • B, H and E. Pen, highlighter and eraser, one key each.
  • Squares, circles and diamonds, clean or sketched, with your own colours, fill and line width.
  • The eraser only removes ink. Your cards are safe under it.
Find it: the Draw button at the bottom of any Board.

Save it anywhere. Drop it on any Board.

The video you’ll want next month. The competitor’s landing page. The five cards that made a great Board. Captures keeps them in one library, and anything in it drags straight onto whatever you’re building.

  • Capture from any website. Remalt Capture for Chrome saves the page with a click, a right-click, or Ctrl or Cmd + Shift + S.
  • Capture from a Board too. Select the cards you’d reuse and save them together.
  • Find it again. Search by title, source or topic, and sort into collections when it helps.
Find it: Captures in the sidebar, and inside every Board. Not yet: the extension is Chrome only.

Safer imports, collaboration and media

  • PDF imports check page counts, and unreadable files fail clearly instead of importing half empty.
  • View-only collaborators no longer trigger edits. Editors recover cleanly after a reconnect.
  • LinkedIn images and videos are stored before a result is saved or charged.
  • Short data-service hiccups are retried on safe reads, never on charges or writes.
  • Microphone permission problems now show clear steps.

  • Grok 4.6 searches the live web by default in chat.
  • Gemini 3.7 Flash, Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Opus 5 added.
